  • STEAM Career Choices

A STEAM workshop designed to teach kids at James Franklin Smith Elementary School about coding and other STEAM related subjects, as well as future career options they can choose. The kids have learned how to program their vehicles to move and raced them in the end as a fun way to test what they learned!

  • Winter Drive

Voiceopedia partnered with the YMCA Mount Madonna Youth Board to create care packages for the winter, including necessities such as blankets, toothbrushes, combs, and homemade cards made by volunteers. Everyone had a fun time while helping pack these bags for the homeless!

  • Hygiene Drive

Voiceopedia recently partnered with EVHS Key Club to pack 100 hygiene packs for refugees! The hygiene packs contain toothbrushes, soap, deodorant, and most of all, handmade cards the volunteers made by hand. These hygiene packs were donated to the International Rescue Committee (IRC). Thank you to all the volunteers for their hard work!

  • Oakland Refugee Festival

Voiceopedia members attended the Oakland Refugee Festival for a 2nd year. We talked about the organization’s goals and let attendees spin our wheel for a prize! We also created a board and let attendees write meaningful and inspirational messages to refugees, letting them know that they are not alone.

  • Oakland Refugee Festival

Check out Voiceopedia’s most recent event: World Refugee Day! Many of our members had the wonderful opportunity to represent our organization and meet other organizations that conduct humanitarian aid.

  • School Supplies Drive

We went to the International Rescue Committee in San Jose and packed over 35 backpacks filled with school supplies for our refugee community! All these supplies were given to young refugee kids that are in need of better resources for school. Thank you to everyone who donated money at our bake sale to fund these supplies!

  • Care Packages Drive

Recently, Voiceopedia partnered with the International Rescue Committee to create care packages for refugees! These packages contained basic amenities including clothes, food, inner garments, and many more. We can’t wait to partner with them more :)
